OnePlus finally launched its new smartphone in India dubbed as OnePlus X.When compared to earlier OnePlus handsets the OnePlus X comes with lower starting price of Rs.16,999.The smartphone comes in two variants,Onyx variant with price of Rs.16,999 and Ceramic variant of Rs.22,999.Both the variants will go on sale via ecommerce site Amazon India.Onyx variant will be available from 4th of November and Ceramic variant from 24th of November.Oneplus stated that Ceramic variant is a limited edition and only 10,000 units will be available for sale across the globe.OnePlus X is its first make in india handset.
OnePlus X has a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display with the screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.On snapper side,it sports 13 megapixel front facing camera with flash and 8 megapixel selfie shooter,going to be a better choice for selfie lovers.
The OnePlus X will run Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It is powered by 2.3GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor combined with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.It has a 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 128GB through microSD card.The handset also has a metal frame and dual speakers at the bottom of the panel.
The connectivity options include 4G LTE,Bluetooth,WiFi,micro USB and Hybrid Dual sim slots,where the second sim slot can be used for SD cards.It is backed up by 2525 mAh non removable battery.
