Xiaomi on Thursday launched Xiaomi Mi 8, the latest flagship smartphone at its annual product launch event in Shenzhen. The main highlight of the Mi 8 smartphone is that it comes with an Infrared Face Unlock, 20-megapixel selfie camera. The Xiaomi Mi 8 is priced at CNY 2,699 (Rs.28,425 approximately) for 6 GB RAM+64 GB storage, CNY 2,999 (Rs.31,600 approximately) for 6 GB RAM+128 GB storage and CNY 3,299 (Rs.34,700 approximately) for 6 GB RAM+256 GB storage.The Mi 8 sports a curved glass body design. It will be available in Black, White, Blue and Gold color variants.
Along with the Mi 8, the Mi 8 Explorer Edition has also launched. It sports the same hardware specs as the Mi 8 with few changes. The Mi 8 Explorer Edition comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, 3D facial recognition, transparent glass body and with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and is Priced at CNY 3,699(Rs.39,000 approximately). Other than these changes the Mi 8 Explorer Edition has the same specs as Mi 8.
