Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched Honor 10 Lite smartphone in India Today. The main highlight of the smartphone is that it comes with a 24-megapixel AI-powered front-facing camera with loads of AI features. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs.13,999 while the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs.17,999. The device will be available in Sky Blue, Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black colour options. The smartphone will be going on sale from 20th of January at 12AM via Flipkart and Honor’s official website HiHonor. As a launch offer, the Honor is also offering Rs.2,200 cashback for Jio users.

The Honor 10 Lite features 6.21-inch Full HD+ notched display with the screen resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio having the screen-to-body ratio of 91%. It is equipped with the AI dual camera setup at the back, a 13-megapixel sensor with the aperture f/1.8 and a 2-megapixel sensor. For taking selfies, there is a 24-megapixel AI selfie camera with aperture f/2.0, 1.8-micron pixel. The front camera also packs a bunch of AI features such as it recognizes eight selfie scenarios and optimizes the background according to that. It even has 4-in-1 Light Fusion Technology to take bright and effective photos during the night time.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM options. It will be available in 4GB RAM/32GB storage combination and 6GB RAM/64GB storage combination. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. The Honor 10 Lite runs on EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box.

The Hybrid dual sim smartphone has the connectivity options such as Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and micro-USB port. The sensors include fingerprint sensor, Proximity sensor, Compass, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. The device is backed up by 3,400 mAh battery.
