Sony on Wednesday launched their Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium in India.Both the smartphones are dual sim variants.
Display & Battery:
Sony Xperia Z5 comes with 5.2-inch display with the screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.It is backed up by 2900 mAh battery and will be available in gold,green and black colour variants.
Whereas,Sony Xperia Z5 Premium comes with 5.5-inch with the screen resolution of 2160×3840 pixels and pixel density of 806ppi.It is the “World’s First Smartphone Featuring 4k Display”.Xpreia Z5 premium is backed up by 3430 mAh battery and will be available in gold,black and chrome colour variants.
These two smartphones are bounded with Sony’s UCH10 quick charger,which claims to deliver 5.5 hours of battery life with just 10mins of charging.
Camera & Hardware:
Apart from the display both the smartphones sports identical features.Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium bears a new 1/2.3-inch exmor RS for mobile 23MP rear camera and f/2.0 G lens and also 5.1MP front facing camera.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop based smartphones are configured with 64 bit octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 810 Soc processor combined with the 3GB of RAM.Both the smartphones comes with inbuilt memory of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 200GB via microSD card.
The connectivity options re 4G,3G,GPRS/EDGE,WiFi,Bluetooth,GPS and microUSB.
Xperia Z5 will be on sale from Friday holding the price tag of Rs.52,990.Xperia Z5 Premium will be on sale from 7th of November holding the price tag of Rs.62,990.
The offers from Sony are customers can avail a smart cover for both the smartphones worth Rs.3500 for free and up to Rs.5000 cashback with HDFC cards.There is also an EMI option from Bajaj finance with the down payment of Rs.2,999.There is a Free Noise cancellation headphones worth Rs.5,490 for the customers who book Xperia Z5 Premium before November 4.
